If your child has ever dreamed of working in a real recording studio, this camp at Franklin Road Academy is a genuinely fun opportunity in a city built on music. Students get to record and produce their own music in a professional studio setting — a hands-on creative experience that connects naturally to the performance and stage production side of the arts. It runs as a half-day morning session, June 1 through June 5, from 8:30 to 11:30, so it works well as a standalone camp or alongside other summer activities. The cost is $225 for the week. The age range is fairly wide — 5 to 14 — making it accessible to younger kids with a spark of curiosity as well as older ones with more musical experience. Franklin Road Academy also offers a number of other theatre and performing arts camps for families who want to go deeper into that world. Families also explore Franklin Road Academy: 1/2 Day Musical Theater, Franklin Road Academy: Audition & Improv, and Franklin Road Academy: Music Magic for similar theatre and performance options at the same campus.
