Franklin Road Academy's Lego and Magnatiles camp is a hands-on building program where kids spend afternoons constructing with two of the most recognizable tools in STEM play. Using classic Lego bricks alongside Magnatiles — the magnetic tiles that connect to form 3D structures — campers work through building projects that develop spatial reasoning and creative problem-solving in an informal, exploratory setting. The camp spans a genuinely wide age range of 5 to 14, which means it can work for a young child just discovering what Lego can do as well as an older kid who simply loves to build. Sessions run from noon to 3 p.m., making this a solid half-day afternoon option that pairs naturally with a morning program. At $145 per session, it's one of the more modestly priced STEM programs at this school. Families also explore Franklin Road Academy: Crunch Labs/Engineering, Architects in the Making, and MS Engineering for similar hands-on design and building options on the same campus.
