This afternoon cooking camp at Ensworth School introduces 7–9 year olds to real kitchen skills through a global theme, covering food decoration, plating, and tasting flavors from cuisines around the world. It's a genuinely practical life skills program — kids work with food hands-on, and they take home recipe cards to try things again at home. For children who light up around cooking, or who you'd like to build some kitchen confidence in, this is a purposeful way to spend a few afternoons. Sessions run from late May through mid-June, 12:15–3:00 pm — the afternoon timing pairs well with a morning sports or arts camp if you're stacking your child's week. Two sessions are offered, with one still open. At $200, it sits on the affordable end for a specialty enrichment program. The camp takes place at Ensworth School on Highway 100 in West Nashville, a well-known campus that's easy to find for families across the west side. Families also explore Ensworth: Creative Writing, Ensworth: Spa Camp, and Ensworth: Game On! for other afternoon enrichment options on the same campus.
