Camp Invention

This week-long, hands-on STEM day camp is designed for kids in kindergarten through sixth grade, running at Eakin Elementary School on Fairfax Avenue — listed as the primary Nashville site for the program. Summer 2027 preregistration is open now at $285 per week for campers ($190 for Leaders-in-Training, grades 7-9); the exact site and week dates for 2027 have not been finalized yet and will be emailed to registrants once locked in. Each week is structured around active, project-based challenges meant to get kids building, inventing, and experimenting rather than sitting through lectures. Sessions are led by local educators, which tends to mean instructors who understand how to pace and manage hands-on activities for the elementary age group. The camp covers a wide age span — five through twelve — making it workable for families with multiple kids at different grade levels. No closely comparable STEM camps were surfaced nearby, but families can browse Summerly's full STEM category for additional Nashville-area science and invention-focused options.
