This chess camp at University School of Nashville takes kids from the basics all the way through intermediate-level play over a focused two-week stretch. The curriculum covers openings, tactics, endgame strategy, and tournament play — so whether your child has never touched a chess piece or already knows the rules and wants to level up, there's a real learning progression built in. It's designed for kids ages 8 to 13, which makes it a good fit for late elementary through middle school. The camp runs afternoons from 12:30 to 4:00 PM at USN's Edgehill Avenue campus, so it pairs well as a half-day option if you're building out a summer schedule. Two sessions are available between June 8 and June 18, with cost at $250 per session.
