Studio Tenn: Winnie-the-Pooh Kids Camp

Studio Tenn's theater camp gives kids ages 8 to 11 a focused week of performing arts built around the Winnie-the-Pooh story. The program is held at the Turner Theatre on Franklin Road, running June 8 through 13 from 9 a.m. to noon each morning — a five-day, half-day format that leaves afternoons free. Throughout the week, campers practice songs, monologues, and scenes from the production, developing performance skills and gaining real comfort on stage. The week culminates in a showcase on the Turner Theatre stage, giving kids the experience of performing for an actual audience in a dedicated theater space. At $350 for the session, it offers a solid week of arts programming for kids who enjoy singing, acting, and being in front of an audience. The Winnie-the-Pooh theme makes it approachable for kids newer to performing arts, while the focus on songs and monologues offers real challenge for those with more experience.
