Montgomery Bell Academy: Kiddie Soccer Camp

If your kindergartner through third-grader has been asking to play soccer, this three-day introduction camp at Montgomery Bell Academy is a low-pressure place to start. Coached by Giles Cheevers, MBA's own head soccer coach, the program is designed specifically for younger kids ages five through eight — boys and girls alike — so the drills and games are scaled to their development level rather than borrowed from older programs. It runs mornings only, 9 to 11, July 20 through 22, which keeps the schedule manageable for young attention spans and leaves afternoons free. At $90 for the full three days, it's one of the more affordable ways to give your child a genuine first look at the sport with real coaching.
