Montgomery Bell Academy: Adventures in Literature

This is a one-week literature course at Montgomery Bell Academy on Harding Pike, designed specifically for rising 7th graders — meaning kids who just finished 6th grade and will be entering middle school in the fall. The focus is practical academic skill-building: students work on note-taking techniques, essay writing, and scene performances drawn from literary texts. It's worth noting that this isn't a casual reading camp — it's explicitly framed as preparation for MBA's own academic program, so it moves at a purposeful pace and sets expectations early for the kind of work the school values.
