Franklin Road Academy: Pokemon

If your kid is deep into the Pokemon universe, this one-week morning camp at Franklin Road Academy gives them a dedicated space to play and geek out with other fans. The camp focuses on Pokemon card games and activities, so kids who already know their way around a deck will be right at home — and curious beginners can pick it up alongside peers who share the same enthusiasm. The wide age range, 5 through 14, means younger and older siblings can attend the same week, though the card game component may work better for kids who already have some familiarity. Morning-only hours (8:30 to 11:30) make this easy to combine with afternoon activities or a second camp. At $225 for the week, it's a solid price for a specialty interest program. Franklin Road Academy runs several similar themed camps throughout the summer, so if Pokemon fills up, families also explore Franklin Road Academy: Superhero Camp, American Girl, and Mahjong for comparable specialty options at the same location.
