Franklin Road Academy: Let's Read

This is a one-week morning camp at Franklin Road Academy focused on building reading skills and fostering a genuine love of books. It runs July 13–17 from 8:30 to 11:30 each morning, making it a half-day commitment that works well if you're juggling other summer activities or need afternoon flexibility. At $250 for the week, it's reasonably priced for a structured academic enrichment program. The age range of 5–14 is broad, so it likely accommodates early readers working on foundational skills alongside older kids looking to build fluency or explore literature more deeply. Franklin Road Academy is an established independent school off Franklin Road in South Nashville, and their summer programs tend to reflect that academic foundation. If your child needs a gentle nudge toward reading or you simply want to keep their literacy sharp over summer break, this is a low-key way to do it without a full-day commitment. The morning schedule also leaves room to layer in afternoon activities.
