Ensworth: Bookworms

If your child is the kid who always has a book in hand, this camp at Ensworth School is built for them. Bookworms combines daily read-alouds with hands-on crafts, games, and activities designed to bring stories to life in creative ways. It's less about quiet reading time and more about using books as a launching pad for imagination and active engagement. The camp runs mornings from 9:00 to 11:45, making it easy to pair with afternoon activities. At $200, it's one of the more affordable options at Ensworth, and with two sessions available between June 1 and June 18, there's some scheduling flexibility. The 7–9 age range is a sweet spot — old enough to engage meaningfully with stories but young enough to love the crafts and games that follow. Ensworth's Highway 100 campus in west Nashville is well-established, so drop-off and pickup tend to be smooth for families on that side of town.
