Centennial Sportsplex runs a week-long tennis clinic for kids ages 6–12 at one of Nashville's best public sports facilities, near Centennial Park on the west side of downtown. Mornings are dedicated to court instruction led by tennis professionals, so kids are actually building proper technique rather than just rallying back and forth. The camp welcomes all skill levels, meaning your child doesn't need any prior experience to get something out of it. Afternoons shift to swimming and recreational activities, which makes this feel less like an intensive training program and more like a well-rounded summer day. The full-day schedule runs 9am to 4pm, which works well for working parents, and at $240–$300 per week it's reasonable for a city-run program with professional instruction. Six sessions are available from mid-June through late July, so there's good flexibility for families with busy summer calendars. Families also explore University School of Nashville: All Sports Camp and Vanderbilt Clark Lea Youth Football Camp for similar sports-focused options nearby.
