Camp Mirage Mt. Juliet: Counselor In Training (CIT)

The Counselor in Training program at Camp Mirage in Mt. Juliet is designed for teens who are ready to step up and start developing real leadership skills. Rather than attending as a regular camper, participants are paired with a specific counselor who mentors them throughout the week — giving 13- and 14-year-olds a genuine behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to lead and support younger kids in a camp environment. It's a natural next step for teens who've aged out of the regular camp experience and want something more meaningful than another summer of activities. At $185 for a half-day program (9am–noon), it's an accessible way to explore leadership without a full-week commitment. With ten sessions running from late May through the end of July, there's solid flexibility to fit around other summer plans. The program runs at Camp Mirage's Mt.
